From Wellington New Zealand, he launched Dispatch Management Services (DMSC) which grew from a small bike messenger firm to be the world’s largest on-demand dispatch company with revenues of $250M, a 5,000+ workforce, and a Nasdaq IPO under his leadership as Chairman. 

 

As a nonpartisan candidate in 2024, Greg earned the recommendation of the Democratic Party, and endorsements from labor, healthcare advocates, and civic leaders. These included Planned Parenthood Action Fund, US Senator Jacky Rosen, Northern Nevada leaders Jill Derby and former Nevada Lt. Governor Kate Marshall.

 

He also earned the support of the The Forward Party, AFSCME, National Nurses Organizing Committee, the Nevada Faculty Alliance, IATSE, and others.

 

He has spearheaded efforts to ensure that public data remains public property, and that users, rather than companies or governments, control access to, and use of, their data.

 

Since his bid to represent NV-02 in 2024, Kidd has continued to work tirelessly to bring better

high-paying jobs and more economic opportunity to Northern Nevada. In 2025, he led a push to introduce new payment bank legislation in the 2025 Nevada state legislative session. The bill would have lowered costs for businesses and consumers, while potentially bringing hundreds of millions of dollars in new revenue to the state. The legislation was championed by the Retail Association of Nevada, and sponsored by Assembly Speaker Steve Yeager with amendments from Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar. It lost by two votes and will be reintroduced next year.

 

Greg is currently campaigning in Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District on a platform of free and fair empowerment for his constituents. He’s the father of two teenage daughters and remains active in the cycling community. He has an interest in gardening and is a history buff and repeat attendee to the musical Hamilton. He is based in Crystal Bay, Nevada on the shores of Lake Tahoe.
